I exclusively offer coaching services and do not provide medical or therapeutic interventions. As a coach, my role is to create a supportive and structured environment for reflection learning, and personal growth. Together, we will work on defining your values and exploring areas where your actions may misalign. Additionally, I will provide you with relevant resources to support your values and help you achieve your goals.
My coaching practice does not involve direct work with children. Instead, I provide support to the adults in their lives, recognizing that empowering and assisting caregivers and parents is a key pathway to supporting children effectively.
I find great joy in working with neurodivergent adults who are eager to deepen their understanding of their unique neurotype and discover strategies to enhance self-support based on their individual needs.
I am based in the Austin, Texas area and provide virtual coaching sessions only via Google Meetup. Currently, the possibility of working with clients residing outside the state of Texas is determined on a case-by-case basis.
Below are the workshop presentations that I offer. If you have specific needs and require a customized workshop, I am open to accommodate your request for an additional fee. Please reach out to me directly to discuss the cost and availability of workshops - michelle@strengthscenteredcoaching.com

"A year ago I opened up about my struggle with depression and my declining ability to "keep up". Now, in my 40s, I was finding it increasingly challenging to manage work, parenting, and life in general. I expressed concern to several professionals to no avail in getting to the root of the problem. Michelle was warm and professional and with her support, I was able to come to a realization about myself and join the growing number of neurodivergent adults living in a neurotypical world. Knowledge is power and Michelle directed me towards treatment and resources that had me climbing out of my depression and back into the saddle but in a new vein. One where I treat myself, my past, my family, my children, and others with more patience and understanding. "
" Parenting has been a greater struggle than I anticipated, as most parents do. There are few outlets for parents to be authentic with their true struggles without feeling shame or judgment. Michelle offered me supportive, applicable and helpful guidance on my parenting journey. Michelle's warmth and kindness allowed me to feel safe enough to be honest about my struggles and receive the support I needed to be there for my kids. Michelle not only provided empathy and understanding but also concrete, tangible tools and exercises that allowed me to shift my parenting in a way that positively changed our whole family. I am forever grateful for the kindness, support, and wisdom Michelle has provided me and my family, and believe everyone could benefit from this style of parenting. "
"We were struggling to get our son the help he needed. We couldn't figure out what was the root of his struggle. There were difficulties in school, with his neighbor friends, and with his dad. Then, we met Michelle. Through her gentle guidance, we began researching the characteristics of an Autistic child and felt a sense of relief as we finally had answers and a direction. Our son is aware of his Autism and sees it as his superpower. He and his dad are better able to cope with his strong emotions and rigidity. We were able to get him a diagnosis and the right supports in school. I will be forever grateful for how Michelle has changed our family's life and the trajectory of my son's future."
"Around the time my daughter turned 2, I was struggling to find my parenting style. I was raised in a household with a lot of yelling. I knew that I wanted things to be different for my daughter but wasn't sure how. Michelle helped me understand how to gentle parent without being a permissive parent. She helped me build my confidence and provided me with some great resources."
"Michelle has been extremely supportive throughout the process of our son being diagnosed with ADHD and dyslexia. She went out of her way to give us resources and literature about the neurodivergent brain. With Michelle's help, I feel so much more comfortable with understanding what my son needs to be successful!"
"Michelle helped me understand what neurodiversity is and how it has impacted my life. My life was full of examples of problems I had because of unrecognized ADHD and difficulty reading which led to self-doubts and poor life decisions. Michelle suggested some great books that helped me understand it further and gently supported my desire to get formally tested. I cried when my self-diagnosis was finally confirmed. My struggles were real, not just in my head. It was a very affirming moment for me. I am so thankful for Michelle's guidance and friendship. She has made a huge difference in my life."
